Easy and meaningful ways to lend a helping hand

2020 is ripe with ways to serve our community. Simply helping grocery shop for a member of your congregation who is immune compromised, to pulling out that trusty ole church directory and calling all the members to check in. I mean you have to grocery shop for your self anyway right? This is the year we as a church should have lived radically! Instead too many are hiding in our homes and make sure just our family is fine! Personally I am helping another mother out by watching a 2 year old 2 days a week as she lost her normal childcare options . Another lady I know is tutoring children of essential workers! Look around never has there been more need . This is the year for the church to shine! So many need help. There is a saying that fits are time perfectly ..”if not me than who? If not now then when?”
